Here at Perfumista we know the choice of bottle is important and we’re striving to use glass spray bottles wherever possible (because we know that’s what people prefer) but due to potential supply issues that happen from time to time Perfumista reserves the right to change the bottles used at any time.
Please CLICK HERE to view the bottles we use for the majority of our orders. If the bottle type is important to you please confirm with us what bottle will be used before placing an order as refunds will not be provided due to the use of a different bottle type.
We specify two clear working days from the point of order for samples to be produced and dispatched. This is because all samples are produced to order and we do not carry ‘off the shelf’ samples ready to go. This helps ensure that the fragrance you receive is as fresh as it can possibly be. Final delivery is dependent upon the postal option selected and delivery service performance in your area.
The free postage option is 3-5 working days from point of dispatch. This does not include the two clear working days for production as detailed above.
All free postage orders are dispatched using Royal Mail Second Class Signed For. A tracking number for each order is available upon request and items can be tracked at https://www.royalmail.com/track-your-item. Royal Mail quote 2-4 working days for delivery of Second Class items and Perfumista is not responsible for the delivery times once the order has left our premises.
If you are not in at the time of delivery the postman/courier will generally leave a note to say that the parcel has been taken back to the depot where you may pick it up/ request a re-delivery.
Upon completing your purchase you will receive email notification that your order has been received by us and is being processed for delivery.
Please contact us if your item has not arrived within 7 days of your order being placed and we will try and locate it. If the tracking reference shows that your item is still with Royal Mail we are required to wait a total of 21 working days before a claim can be made for a lost item. At this point a claim will be raised and a replacement item sent (stock permitting). Where items are out of stock a refund will be made.
In the event of an order lost in transit the customer is required to cooperate with us and Royal Mail in dealing with the claim. Failure to cooperate may invalidate the claim for a lost order.
We currently accept PayPal and therefore can process payments via all major UK credit & debit cards as specified by PayPal.
If you have signed up for an account with Perfumista you will be able to save items from our store in a ‘wishlist’ on your account so that you may find and view them easily on a subsequent visit. You are able to transfer items from your wishlist to your cart should you wish to purchase them.
Should goods arrive damaged or faulty, we may provide a replacement item or credit note as appropriate. Please contact us immediately in the event of damage or faults.
Customers are required to inspect all items that constitute the order immediately upon receipt. Failure to report any damage within 24 hours of delivery will be considered to be an acceptance of the items condition. Any damage reported more than 24 hours after the signature on the delivery MAY be rejected. If a return is accepted the faulty item should be returned with all the original packaging and accessories as purchased along with all relevant documents within 28 days of purchase. If the original packaging is lost or damaged, we will post replacement packaging so that the item can be returned for inspection. As a gesture of goodwill we may refund the cost of the return postage (it is therefore advised that the item also be returned by recorded delivery). However, we cannot replace goods or provide a credit note until we are in receipt of the faulty goods.
The customer will be required to provide digital photographs and a confirmation statement that the item arrived damaged. This information will be used to file a claim with our courier. The customer will be required to cooperate with the courier and us in any resulting investigation. Registering an account and purchasing from us is a full acceptance of these terms and conditions.
While we can guarantee that your fragrance is authentic, we cannot guarantee that you will like it. Each fragrance sample is hand produced to order from the manufacturer’s original bottle. Once the package has been received by a customer possible tampering conditions exist. To help ensure that every fragrance shipped is 100% original we cannot accept returns or exchanges or issue refunds. All sales are final.
We do recognise that mistakes happen when ordering and so we offer a limited and strictly conditional 14-day cooling off period from the date of order receipt for an order to be returned. In order for this offer to stand all goods must be returned to use still sealed within their packaging. Any break in the packaging will lead to this offer being rescinded in all cases.
